The Speaky series of spinning reels is a compact reel designed to be silky smooth and durable. The reel was rigorously tested in a range of conditions by field staff, using their knowledge to develop the ultimate spinning reel. The Speaky is ideal for saltwater use as the durability ensures that it stays silky smooth over long periods of time. 

The smaller 2000 and 2500 sizes utilise a felt drag system to ensure ultimate smooth drag under tension for freshwater and light saltwater game applications. The 3000 and 3500 sizes utilise a tough carbon drag system which can withstand sudden runs from bigger more powerful fish, ideal for inshore and light offshore game.

Inside the speaky are 3D cut aluminium gears brought down to super fine tolerances for ultimate smoothness in a spinning reel. The duralumin material used for the main drive gear is light-weight yet strong and durable enough to withstand the harshest environments. The Speaky gears are arranged to deliver the perfect balance and torque for unparalled strength. 

The 2000 Speaky comes with a flat EVA knob, 2500 and 3000 come with a rubber T shaped knob and the 3500 comes with a large round EVA knob.

The Speaky body and rotor is constructed from an ultra-light carbon composite that is utimately stronger and more rigid while being virtually rust resistant. Utilising this material allowed developers to create a perfectly balanced spinning reel. The Speaky uses a one-piece bail arm that is ideal for braided line applications. 

The reel drag is equipped with a rubber seal to prevent water and dirt from penetrating the reel, further prolonging the longevity and durability of this reel.
